What The World Needs Now...

...is an editor for JK Rowling. Just because you're one of the world's top-selling authors and they will let you typeset every word you can think up doesn't make it a good idea.

    Stephen King and Tom Clancy had the same problem.

    Once a writer gets popular enough, they start overriding their editors...which is never a good thing.

    I still think the last Harry Potter book holds up overall, but the last two could definitely have used a little more editorial tough love.
