I mean, he would know. Right? Steve King was talking about McConnell and Boehner yesterday when he said,

...[T]he leader and the speaker have established their integrity and their
mendacity for years in this Congress and I don't believe it can be effectively
challenged...

I suppose we have to take him at his word about McConnell's mendacity going forward.
