Strong Talk For West Bend

Apparently, two students in Mr. Cobb's class objected to the idea of the speech, saying (loose quote here): "I don't want to listen to Obama's socialism indoctrination."--or something similar. Supposedly, Mr. Cobb then decided NOT to show the speech, saying he did 'not want to have to end up talking to a bunch of angry parents.' I don't know what the official policy of the school was, but I find it interesting that two students with obvious intellectual challanges (or, they parot their parents well) get to decide the educational curriculum at the high school. I don't suppose any student--or parent--complained when Reagan/Bush 1 made their speeches. How unimpressive.
The Evansville Observer Agenda Page is not intended to serve as an official meeting notice page nor does it relieve the City of any responsibility to properly notice meetings
