I don't believe that the World's Largest Music Festival is the place for either Grand Theft Auto IV or Shia Splatter (or whatever we're calling it.)
But I also believe that if your idea of "supporting the troops" is based on whether or not a video game gets played you might want to recalibrate your sense of outrage.

Interesting that the words "supporting the troops" never appeared anywhere in my post...
Nonetheless, I think what surprised and angered many people was the concept of a small group of progressive activists (whose own website decries the deceptive practices of military recruiters, and seeks "alternatives to the military") taking it upon themselves to edit the U.S. Army for content, with Summerfest officials acting as willing accomplices.
In any event, Summerfest apparently got the message. They've encouraged the Army to reinstate a modified version of the game to their exhibit.
Bruce, did you consider that grumps may have been "paraphrasing"?
And the game that caused the outcry is still gone. Yup, they got the message.
