Snopes And Bakken

There's a meme going around the Internets that the Bakken Formation in North Dakota and Montana will yield 503 billion barrels of oil that would fuel all of the nation's oil needs for 41 years if only Nancy Pelosi would stand aside.



Snopes has the scoop. It might last a year at current import rates. At least one local blogger had it right.
