What I've Been Doing

There's been a whole lot of Real Life going on and I haven't been as assiduous about posting as I should be. But I have been commenting all over. Go on over to the OlBroad's place for one I really had fun with.

Q4. A woodcutter has a Chainsaw which operates at 2700 RPM. The density of
the pine trees in the plot to be harvested is 470 per acre. The plot is 2.3
acres in size. The average tree diameter is 14 inches. How many Budweisers will
be drunk before the trees are cut down?

A4) 3 on the drive over. 2 to get the saw started after the plug change. 1
more for every third tree up to 12, then 1 more for every two. Two more for the
drive to the Owl’s Nest and two in the back of Ray-Ray’s pickup on the ride
home.
