Ney's hand-Picked Successor Runs Afoul Of Ohio's "Sore Loser" Law

It appears that Joy Padgett, Bob Ney's handpicked successor, is ineligible due to an Ohio voting law that prohibits candidates which lose in one primary from running in another in the same year.

I guess that I'm a little taken aback that Ohio has any voting laws at all.

Hmm - maybe they should as Tom Delay's folks what to do in this situation. Oh wait, Texas has rules about ballots too, forgot!
