Books You Wouldn't Have To Read, But You Should

Richard Lawrence Cohen has a post about books whose titles say it all. Peter Galbraith's The End of Iraq: How American Incompetence Created a War Without End, Thomas Ricks' Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq, and Amusing Ourselves to Death by Neil Postman are all on his list.

Cohen lists many more and then asks for our contributions to the list. See if you can help him out.

I just finished re-reading Red Storm Rising, by Tom Clancy.

I liked it then and still like it now. Unfortunately, Clancy has become too predictable and too full of technocrap that he's no fun to read anymore.
